Our straight knives regrinding service covers guillotine blades, slitter knives, shear blades, agricultural knives and food processing blades — ground on precision surface grinding machines to ±0.01mm tolerances. We grind single and double-bevel profiles to your exact specification. It restores the cutting edge to factory geometry without replacing the blade.

Yes. We sharpen TCT blades and knives using specialist diamond grinding wheels with controlled heat management to avoid thermal damage to the carbide-to-steel interface. TCT blades hold their edge much longer than standard steel but require specialist equipment — which we have at our Rotherham facility.

Our segmental surface grinding machines handle blades and knives up to 1,500mm (1.5 metres) in length. This covers the vast majority of industrial granulator blades, wood chipper blades, and straight blades used across Yorkshire industry.
